Post your ideas for healthy snacks. The requirements are that they have to actually be healthy and not be a vehicle for sugar, salt and fat

For example

  • popcorn (use a oil spritzer if you're going to use olive oil to minimize calories)
  • Mixed nuts (heavy in fat but filling, so eat in moderation)
  • Red bell pepper with guacamole
  • Berries [with greek yogurt]
  • Apples [with peanut butter]
  • Dark chocolate with almonds
  • Fruit
  • Cucumbers [with spices]
  • Hard boiled eggs (2 hard boiled eggs has 140 calories and 13 gm of protein)
  • Canned sardines
  • Edamame
  • Sun Dried Tomatoes

Make sure you snack in moderation!
